i had a hard time trying to explain what I mean by that phrase.
No, im not supporting plastic surgery (I don't condemn it either). And i DEFINITELY do not support artificiality, or think that artificial stuff is beautiful.
What I meant is, very simply, beauty is just beauty. I don't give a damn whether its origins came from genes, cosmetics, invasive or non-invasive surgery. I don't care. Beauty is just beauty, no matter how its created.
If you're natural from head to feet but also ugly all the way back up, i DONT CARE. You are still ugly. If I think you're pretty, you're pretty. It doesnt even matter if your skin is sandpapered to its perfection. Beauty is an idea.
If, for allll your life, you always thought that this girl looks totally perfect. and one day you discover that she actually has nose/boobs/lips augmentation and dbl-eyelid surgery, will you just instinctively think that she's ugly as a monster?
That's just crazy lo.
So my point is, artificial beauty is still beauty, because a rose by any other name is just as fragrant.
